Brooksville Coastal Home

Brooksville, Maine

Architect: Phelps Architecture

This coastal home sits on the water in Brooksville, Maine near Buck’s Harbor. The home was designed by architect and interior designer Michelle Phelps and features a bell roof tower, exercise and game rooms, a guest suite and open-concept spaces.

The client was heavily involved in the selections throughout the nautical-inspired interiors, and the Hewes & Company team worked with both architect and client to make many details come to life. Examples are the rounded accents that are abundant inside and outside the home, and the numerous design components that required CNC manufacturing for the utmost accuracy.

Excellence was the objective in the building of this home, so the materials are top notch: Marvin windows and doors, classic cedar shingle, copper flashing, custom-built shelving and cabinets, and specialty tile and countertops.
